Toyota Mobility programme

Independence is key for people who live with a disability, and having the ability to drive yourself is huge.

Toyota’s global catch-cry is BELIEVE.

Toyota New Zealand saw a way to make a difference. They’ve put together a pilot programme that will provide a comprehensive package for customers with specialist mobility needs.

The Toyota Mobility programme at North Shore Toyota will offer advice and support for people seeking to drive, and if you’re needing a car with modifications… they’ll make the process simple.

Toyota hopes to roll the project out nationally.

Sports Performer

As part of the festivities this 2011 All Blacks Jersey, signed by the entire 2011 All Blacks Tri-Nations Squad, was auctioned on the night.

The auction raised a phenomenal sum of $10,000.

Proceeds of which went to winner of the Sport Performer category - Sophie Pascoe.

The 2011 Attitude Awards were celebrated in style at the Viaduct Events Centre on Auckland’s waterfront on December 1st – a perfect lead into World Disability Day on December 3rd.

Guests made their way to their tables through a foyer adorned with artwork from Spark Studio, before the evening opened with the arrival of Governor General Sir Jerry Mateparae.

Five hundred guests packed the Events Centre for the Black Tie Event, including five Dames and Knights, as well as various politicians, sport stars, TV celebrities and opinion leaders from the community.
